Indiana Wesleyan University Students Spread Out Across Grant County to Serve

Creating a culture of serving is important at IWU as well as building relationships for new freshman coming in and connecting them with IWU and Marion community members.

On Wednesday, August 28, students participated in "Acts of Kindness" throughout the county. Some examples of projects include yard makeovers, painting projects, retirement home visits, cemetary clean-up, window-washing, gutter cleaning, cookie baking, and garage organization.

This initiative was started in 2014 as part of the new week-long freshman orientation.

Marion Health would like to thank the students for making a difference and building relationships in the Marion community.
