Marion Health to Hold Free Stuffed Animal Medical Clinic at Family Medicine Residency Clinic Tomorrow
Marion, IN – Marion Health officials will hold a free stuffed animal clinic for children ages 12 and younger at the Family Medicine Residency Clinic at 1411 W. Bella Drive tomorrow from 10 a.m. to noon.
Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal in for a check-up from our caring and compassionate staff. When families arrive at the clinic, the children will register their stuffed animal, receive a wristband, and get a special passport to guide them through each of many exciting stations. Children and their families will move from station to station as their stuffed animal receives the comprehensive Marion Health medical experience.
Stations include medical history, check-up, X-ray, and surgery. There will also be wellness stations for kids to learn healthy habits to stay strong, including physical activity and exercise, healthy nutrition, the importance of being smoke-free, and staying safe in the sun.
Other special activities for the children include creating a bracelet for their stuffed animal, coloring and decorating a picture frame, taking a special photo with their stuffed animal, playing games, and much more.
Members of the media are invited and encouraged to attend.
