MGH Nurses Earn Professional Certification

The following Marion Health nurses have earned professional certification within their field . . .

Penny Sluder, BSN, RN-BC, is now board certified in Cardiac-Vascular Nursing from the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). The 25-year Marion Health employee earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from IndianaWesleyanUniversity. Sluder lives in Marion with her husband Jim and is also a parish nurse. She enjoys working at MGH because “this is a part of my family. I work with the best people in the world.”

Debbie Rigsbee, BSN, RN, Critical Care Department, has received her Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). Rigsbee, an IndianaWesleyanUniversity graduate, resides in GasCity with her husband, Phillip. They have two daughters, Angela and Janel, and a grandson, Landon. The 35-year Marion Health employee says “It’s a great team, providing excellent quality patient care."

Julieta Manio, BSN, RN, Critical Care Department, has received her Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). Born in the Philippines, Manio currently resides in Marion with her husband and five children. She is a graduate of Makati Medical Center School of Nursing, Philippines, and has been employed at Marion Health for 8 years. “The staff are friendly and accommodating, and management is very supportive,” she says.
