MGH Once Again Receives National Recognition for Nursing Excellence
Marion Health has once again received Magnet® designation
for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credential Center's
(ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®. It is one of the highest levels
of recognition a hospital can achieve.
Designation as a Magnet hospital places Marion Health in a very select group of
healthcare organizations, both in Indiana and nationwide. MGH joins only
12 other hospitals in Indiana and approximately 6% of all hospitals in
the nation that have achieved Magnet recognition.

The Magnet Recognition Program recognizes health care organizations for
quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovations in professional
nursing practice. Consumers rely on Magnet designation as the ultimate
credential for high quality nursing. Developed by the American Nurses
Credentialing Center (ANCC), Magnet is the leading source of successful
nursing practices and strategies worldwide.
